Votes recommended on Reservoirs and Fountains.

The Committee also proposed the following
votes, after amendments offered by Mr Curtis
which were accepted. viz:

+ Voted = That the committee on Fountains
be authorized to construct one or more
fountain-jets at Mount Auburn at an
expense not exceeding seven thousand
dollars, provided the Horticultural Society
shall agree to contribute one quarter part
of that sum.

+ Voted _ That the same committee
be farther authorized to expend one thousand
dollars of the above named sum without
delay, if they shall think it expedient
so to do.

Report &c. adopted _

+ Voted that the Committee be instructed
to employ a suitable engineer to superintend
the execution of the said work.

Mr Curtis desired the yeas
