Secretary's Oath of Office

Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Suffolk ss. . Then personally
appeared Austin J. Coolidge and made oath
that he would faithfully perform the duties of
Secretary of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount
Auburn for the ensuing year: _

Before me C.P. Curtis _ Justice of the Peace

Trustees . _

An adjourned meeting of the Trustees was held
at the usual place on (the same being also the time
for the regular monthly meeting.)

There were present the President, Messes Bangs,
Cheever, Curtis, Gould, Little, McKean, Nazro,
Read and
Tisdale. ~

The Record of the Last meeting was read.

Amendments to By-Laws. Adopted

The amendments proposed at the last meeting to be made
to the By-Laws were then taken up: and the following
proposed by Mr. Read, was unanimously adopted, and
ordered to be incorporated in its place with the By-Laws
recently adopted. _

Amendt to Art. 3d

"No Trustee shall receive any Salary, contract,
or other emolument for services rendered by him,
while holding the office of Trustee." _
