Commee chosen to considerrelations & obligations of this Corpn to the Mass. Hort. Socy

The President stated that this Corporation is
about to incur a considerable expense in fitting up
unsaleable lots for the market, and suggested the
desirableness of ascertaining the nature of its liability
to the Mass. Horticultural Society, in such sales, under
the Charter. _ and it was

Voted that a Committee of three,
consisting of the President, & Messrs Curtis & Nazro, be
chosen to consider the relations and obligations of
this Corporation to the Mass. Hort. Society, & report thereon.

Planting trees on Westerly line _

Voted that the Committee on Grounds be
requested to consider the expediency of planting trees
on a part of the Westerly line of the Cemetery, with
authority to cause the same to be done, if they think fit. _

Lot 182. Representative of same des-ignated.

In accordance with the petition of the heirs at law
of James Boyd, late proprietor of lot numbered 182
Mrs James Boyd of Roxbury was designated
to represent the same, & vote at meetings of the Corpo-
ration, until another designation may become necessary.

Comee on Grounds to consider what space might to be preserved between adjoining lots -

Some remarks were made upon the need of uniform-
ity in the spaces to be preserved between the lots of
adjoining proprietors _ and it was

Voted to refer the consideration of the same
to the Committee upon Grounds, to report upon at a
future meeting. _
