Trustees Sept^r 1. 1856.

The regular monthly meeting of the Trustees
was held at the usual place on Monday the
first day of September AD 1856, at 10 o'clock AM.

There were present, the President & Messrs Bangs,
Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, McKean, Nazro & Tisdale.

The record of the last meeting was read.

Report of Committee upon Public Lots _ recommends

Mr Nazro, the Committee appointed at the last
meeting, to report a plan by means of which the inter-
ments in the public lots may be property identified
& recorded, submitted a written report which con-
cluded with the following recommendations. _

Recording past interments -

"First _ That the whole matter be referred to a Committee
with full powers _ 1^st To have the lots put in order _
the graves opened where necessary _ and a full and
complete record made of all the interments which
have been made therein. _

New fence _

2^d to have the old fence
on the S^t James Lot, which merely consists of small
iron posts with a chain, removed, and stone posts
substituted _ .

numbering of graves in order _

3^d to have stones with the numbers
placed on each of the graves in the St James' Lot
and those in the St. John's Lot which have been
sold without that condition. _"

"Secondly,, That in future sales of graves in the public Lots,
