Grounds _

Voted,, that the Superintendent be instructed under the
direction of the Committee upon Grounds, to fill up the
hollow on the Westerly side of the Chapel with gravel
from the Easterly side of the gate. _

Interment in Public Lots _

Mr Nazro called the attention of the Board to the mode
of interment in the public lots without any system by means
of which the place of interment of any person could be identified.

Upon which it was
Voted,, that Mr Nazro be a Committee
to report at a future meeting a plan to designate the
places of interment upon the public lots. _

Building at Gate inexpedient this year_

Mr Nazro, in behalf of the Committee on Rules & Regulations of
interment &c, to which, at the meeting in April, (p. 80) was committed
the subject of considering what alterations or additions might be
made to the buildings at the Gate, to be reported upon at a
future meeting,, _ submitted a written report recommending
the erection of a building for the accommodation of visitors so
soon as the financial state of the Corporation shall allow it;
but advising the postponement of the same to another year,
on account of the large payments required to be made for the
Superintendent's house, Statuary & other purposes, and that the
subject for the present be laid upon the table _

Voted that the report be accepted & placed on file. _

Lots _

Mr Curtis, Chairman of the Committee upon lots, to which
a communication from the Superintendent was referred at the May
meeting (p. 90) asking information _ 1st What distance shall be
left between lots in laying them out. _ 2d - Whether the refusal of
a lot should be given to any one, & for what time; _
