to deliver the same at the Chapel in Mount
Auburn, in compliance with the contract of Mr
Story
: - And further proposing, if the Trustees
are not ready to receive the Statue at Mount Auburn
that he will exhibit it in the vestibule of the Athen-
aeum
, & keep it insured at the expense of Mr
Story
, provided the Trustees will accept the Statue
at that place". _

Story Statue to be delivered at Boston Athenaeum

On consideration whereof it was
Voted. That the Trustees will accept the Statue
Judge Story
delivered in the vestibule of the Boston
Athenaeum
, provided it shall be found in good order,
and that it may be exhibited there by Mr Story until
the further order of this Board, he keeping the
same insured against fire, for the amount of
the cost of it, and taking reasonable precaution
to protect it from injury by visitors. _

And it was further

Treasr to pay for same

Voted, that, upon the order of
the Committee upon this subject, the Treasurer be au-
thorized to pay the amount of the contract price to
Mr Story or his agent. _

Voted that Mr Tisdale be added to the
Committee upon this subject. _

On suggestion of Dr Bigelow it was

Pedestals for statues of Story, Winthrop, Otis, & Adams.

Voted, that the com-
mittee appointed to procure the Statues of Winthrop, Otis
and Adams (Dr Bigelow) be further authorized to procure
suitable pedestals for the four statues already ordered
