The following is a true extract from the records
of the Trustees of the Proprietors of the Cemetaery
of Mount Auburn at a meeting holden .

A Letter from W.P. Winchester's attorney
Wmilliam Sohier Esquire on the subject of an alte-
ration of the way lying adjacent to his estate
and that of - Stone was read; thereupon Or-
dered, that the Treasurer and Secretary be au-
thorized to release the rights of the Corporation
in so much of said road as lies within the
bounds of said Winchesters estate, on receiving
from him a legal grant of a way over such
other part of his land as is proposed by him in
thise said said [sic] letter.

A true copy of said deed acknowledgment and
the vote endorsed upon the same

I send you herewith the Plan
showing the alteration which Wm P. Winchester
wishes to make in the road at Watertown. His
object is to give a handsome sweep round the
awkward corner shown on the Plan; to remove
the old barn which now stands upon the site
