Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Suffolk ss. . Then personally
appeared Henry M. Parker, and made oath that he
would faithfully perform the duties of Secretary of
the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn
Before me-

Benjn F. Brooks----Justice of the Peace

Trustees.

Pursuant to notices issued in the usual manner by the
Secretary, the Trustees met on the in the Chapel at Mount Au-
burn; present Messrs Crockett, C.P. Curtis, Gould, Parker
and Read. The Treasurer was also present.

In the absence of the President the Secretary called the
meeting to order, and Mr Curtis was chosen chairman.

Comee on Repairs

Voted. To add one to the committee on repairs &c. elected
at the last meeting. Mr I. Parker was added to the said
committee in accordance with the preceding vote.

Chapel furniture to be provided.

Voted. That the Committee on Repairs be instructed to
furnish this house [the Chapel] in a suitable manner &
either with iron or wooden seats as they, having full pow-
ers, shall see fit; it being understood that they are to pro-
vide also suitable books for the reading desk_ and also a
pall & other matters necessary for properly conducting fu-
nerals if they shall deem it expedient.

Fee for Transfer.

Voted. That the Secretary be authorized to charge one
dollar for recording deeds of transfer of any lot and cer-
tifying the same, according to the standing custom here
tofore.
