appeared Henry M. Parker, and made oath that
he would faithfully perform the duties of the Secre-
tary of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount
Auburn. Before me.

Trustees.

Pursuant to notices issued in the usual manner by the
Secretary. the Trustees met at the office of C.P. Curtis
on Present
Messrs Bigelow, Crockett, B.R. Curtis, C.P. Curtis and
Parker. The Treasurer was also present.

Catalogue

Voted. That there shall be inserted in the Cata-
logue which is about to be issued, such litho-
graphic views as the president may cause to be
prepared.

Leave to construct tomb refused.

Voted. That Mr Henry Farnham's for request for
a lot with the right of construction a tomb, be refused
as incompatible with the standing regulation of
the Trustees.

Form of deeds of lots.

Voted. That no deed of any lot shall contain any
declaration of trust, without the special vote of the
board therefor.

I wish they explained why they could not sell a lot where a tomb could be built when there were already 204 tombs in 1843 as reported on page 109.
