to the chair. It was then.

Chapel

Voted. That this Corporation proceed to the erection
of a Chapel.

Voted. That the building be erected in fine hammered
granite.

Voted. To amend the last vote by inserting the word
"Quincy" before the word "Granite".

Voted. That the building Committee consist of
Dr Jacob Bigelow, Charles P. Curtis and James Read
with power to sign the contracts on behalf of this
Corporation for erecting the Chapel at an expense
not exceeding twenty five thousand dollars.

Mr Brimmer having withdrawn it was.

Stone estate

Voted. That Charles P. Curtis Esquire, and the Sec-
retary
be a committee with power to complete the
purchase from the heirs of the late Moses Stone, and
^ p 190 [er seq?] with power to execute any such deeds in relation
to the present interests of the Corporation in the
dower estate of the late Mrs Pomeroy as they
shall deem proper.

Perpetual repair of Lots.

Voted. That in every case in which any person
shall execute an instrument of trust in the form
hitherto prescribed, and thereby transfer to this Corpo-
ration such sum as the Committee on lots may
in each case approve (not less than one hundred
dollars) in trust for the good ordering and care
of any special lot and for other purpose as therein
