Trustees.

Pursuant to a notice issued by the Secretary a meeting of the
Trustees was holden at the house of Dr Jacob Bigelow at . Present Messrs
Story. Bigelow. Gould. Parker Crockett C.P. Curtis

Superintendants Assistant.

Voted. That the Superintendant Mr Howe be authorized to em
-ploy an assistant in all cases where his health requires it.

Purchase of Lands

Voted. That the committee on finance be authorized to make
the purchase of the Pomeroy place and any other lands adjoin
ing the Cemetery grounds as they may see fit to be added
thereto.

Chapel.

Voted. That the Chapel when erected shall be built of granite.

Voted. To adjourn to meet again at this place, at .

No meeting having convened agreeably to the adjournment
as next above recorded, the usual notice having been is
sued by the Secretary for another meeting of the trustees at
the house of Dr Bigelow, at , there were
then and there present Messrs Story. Bigelow. Read. Par
-ker
. B.R. Curtis. C.P. Curtis. Brimmer, and Crockett
and also the Treasurer Mr. Bond. After some discussion
in relation to the proposed Chapel at Mount Auburn
Judge Story having formally stated his own opinion
to be in favor of the immediate erection of a Chapel
