Trustees.

Pursuant to notice issued by the Secretary the Trustees
of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mount Auburn
met at the office of the Secy on
Present Messrs Bigelow, Brimmer, C. P. Curtis B. R.
Curtis
, Parker, Read & Story -

Improvements.

The comee appointed at the last meeting to take
into consideration the contemplated improvements
at the Cemetary (sic) made a report which is as follows.

The Committee to whom was referred the report
of a committee on the subject of introducing fresh
water into the grounds at Mount Auburn with
directions to take into consideration the various im-
provements which it may be deemed expedient to
make there have had the same under their con-
sideration & respectfully report that by the Act of
Incorporation of the Proprietors of the Cemetary (sic) of
Mount Auburn the Monies which shall arise from the
Sale of the Lots, & belong to the Corporation are required
to be forever devoted & applied to the Preservation, Im-
provement embellishment & enlargement of the Said
Cemetary (sic) & the incidental expenses thereof - that
hitherto these purposes have been faithfully adhered
to - the Grounds have been laid out, & paths & avenues
have been established, a house with Suitable ap-
pendages built, a temporary gate way erected, & a
Suitable temporary fence embracing enclosing the whole
grounds - During the present year a permanant (sic) gran-
-ite gateway
has been Substituted for the former wooden
