Trustees

Pursuant to notice issued by C.P. Curtis in
behalf of the Secretary the Trustees of the
Pros. of the Cem^y of Mount Auburn met
at the office of the Secretary at 10 oclock
A. M on the 16^th day of July A D 1842.

Present Mess^rs Bigelow C.P. Curtis B. R.
Curtis, Parker & Story.
Voted. To approve the bond of the
Treasurer with Mess^rs Weld & May
as surities & that the Secretary file
the same.

Gate Report on Rebuilding Gate &c

Voted. That the Com^ee on lots be authorized
to make a contract to carry into effect
the first resolution of the report of the Com^ee
as to the building of a gate & also that
they have authority to carry into effect
the other resolutions contained in the
said report.

The said report is as follows:

The Com^ee appointed to report on the
subject of rebuilding the gate of stone,
constructing a new fence, enlarging
the grounds of the cemetery & planting
trees respectfully report, that they have
had the subjects committed to them
under consideration & have come to
the following resolutions

First. That it is expedient to construct
the entrance gate of Mount Auburn
