Proprietors 1838

Pursuant to the above notice which was
published in the Mercantile Journal,
a newspaper printed in Boston, seven
days before the time of the said
meeting the Proprietors of the Cemetery
of Mount Auburn met at the
said Rooms of the Massachusetts
Horticultural Society on Monday
the fifth day of February 1838 at half
past three oclock P.M.
In the absence of the President Doctor
Jacob Bigelow was chosen President
pro tem.

Trustees Chosen.

The following named gentlemen were
then elected ^^{by ballot} Trustees for the ensuing year
Mess^rs Joseph Story, George Bond, Jacob Bigelow,
Benj^m A. Gould, James Reed, Charles P.
Curtis, Martin Brimmer, Benj^m R. Curtis,
Isaac Parker.

Treas^r Report.

The Treasurers Report was then read
by the Secretary & it was voted to
accept the same & that it be recorded
by the Secretary.-
