Ordered that the Gate on the Southerly side of
the Cemetery, be closed & fastened permanently

Labourers

Ordered that, in as much as it is indispensable
to the good order of the Cemetery, that all labour-
ers there be under the immediate direction
& control of the Superintendant, no persons shall
be employed in digging out & improving lots
in the Cemetery except such as are employed
by the Superintendant; or with his and all
mechanics working in the Cemetery shall
and all Carmen & others handling stone & ma-
terials therein shall be under his direction

Oxen

Ordered that the Superintendant purchase a
pair of working Oxen, for the use of the Garden
& Cemetery—

D^r Bigelow, M^r Curtis, M^r Gould & M^r Brown

Voted that the Secretary give notice to all Sub-
scribers who have not received deeds of their
lots, that they must apply to the Treasurer for
them on or before the 28^th February next, if
they wish to enjoy the privilege of being mem-
bers of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society
