7 All persons are prohibited from discharging
firearms in the Garden or Cemetery.

8 The Gates are to be opened at sunrise &
closed at sunset

9 No persons are to be admitted on Sundays
and Holidays, excepting Proprietors of Lots &
the members of their household and persons
accompanying them—

10 No money is to be paid to or received by the
Porter, from visitors to the Garden or Cemetery

Rules to be posted up &c.

Voted that the foregoing rules be printed & post-
ed up in the Grounds, and that they be paint-
ed on a board & placed in a conspicuous sit-
uation near the Gate;—

Mr Bond & Mr Curtis were appointed a Com-
mittee to carry this into effect.—

Custody of Grounds

Voted that the care & custody of the Garden &
Cemetery be & the same hereby are vested in
the Superintendant, who is authorized to remove
all persons who violate any of the Rules & Regu-
lations for concerning visitors to the Garden or
Cemetery or commit trespasses of any kind.—
