Interments

Voted that Mr Bond & Mr Curtis be a Committee to
make such further arrangements as they see
fit concerning interments, & to report their
doings thereon, to this Committee.

Burdens

Voted that no vehicle with a heavy burden
be admitted through the Gateway on the County
road, & that all heavy burdens be transferred
to and loaded upon the Society's Wagon, when-
ever required by the Superintendant, or other-
wise not admitted within the grounds of
Mount Auburn.

Regulations

Voted that the following Regulations, concerning
visitors to the Cemetery & Garden of Mount Au-
burn be adopted & enforced --

1 No person is to be admitted on horseback ---

2 No vehicle is to be admitted unless it is ac-
companied by a Proprietor ^of a Lot or a member of his
or her household with his or her Ticket. --

3 No vehicle is to be driven in the Cemetery or Garden
at a rate faster than a walk

4 No Horse is to be fastened except at the posts pro-
vided for this purpose, & no horse is to be left
unfastened without a keeper. --

5 All persons are prohibited from gathering
any flowers, either wild or cultivated, or breaking
or injuring any tree, shrub or plant in the Garden
or Cemetery

6 All persons are prohibited from writing upon,
defacing or injuring any monument, fence
or other structure in or belonging to the Garden
or Cemetery.
