At a meeting of the Garden & Cemetery
Committee held on 1^st February 1834, present,
General Dearborn, M^r Cook, D^r Bigelow,
M^r Bond, M^r Bradlee, M^r Gould, M^r Brown
& M^r Curtis --

Voted that Gen: Dearborn be a Committee to
confer with M^r James W. Russell and to conclude
an engagement with him as Superintendant
of the Garden & Cemetery at Mount Auburn, for
one year from 1^st March 1834 and for such further
time not exceeding two years as the Garden &
Cemetery Committee shall desire it, at the
salary of $ 600 a year payable quarterly —
Voted that D^r Bigelow & M^r Bond be a Comm^ee
to have the gate repainted, and the inscription
to be removed and replaced with larger letters
if they see fit —

Catalogue

Voted that M^r Bond & M^r Curtis be a Committee
to prepare a Catalogue of the Lots & Proprietors'
name for publication, and a list of changes for
interment &c -

Bills to be paid

Voted that the Treasurer be authorized to pay the
following ^^bills. — D. Haggerston for waggon & harness -
W. Horne for carpenter's work &c - F. & J. Win-
hips for plants &c.
