paying ten dollars additional to his former dues.

Enlargement of Lots

Voted. 5. That if any subscriber shall wish to enlarge his
lot, the Garden & Cemetery Committee may, if they
see fit, set off to him, land for that purpose on
his paying for the same at the rate of twenty cents
the square foot.

Record of Names

Voted. 6. That the Secretary of this Committee & the
Secretary of the Horticultural Society shall each
keep a record of the names of all proprietors,
with the number & situation of their lots accom-
panied by a corresponding plan of the grounds.

Receiving Tombs.--

Voted. 7. That a receiving tomb be purchased or constructed
within the city and another within the Cemetery
at Mount Auburn for a sum not exceeding three
hundred dollars each in which bodies intended to
be interred at Mount Auburn may be placed for
a period not exceeding six months, in case some
responsible person shall sign an obligation to cause
said body to be removed from the tomb within six
months. And in case of the non removal of said
body within six months, the Cemetery Committee
shall cause the same to be removed and buried at
the expense of the person so signing.

Single interments

Voted. 8. That single interments in graves may be made
in the unappropriated ground on _______
avenue upon ____ dollars bring paid for each
right of interment. But no slabs shall afterwards
be erected or any monument except of Granite
or of marble & of a form approved by the Committee.
