Oath of Secretary pro tempore
Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Suffolk, S.S. Boston

Personally appeared John L. Dill and made oath
that he would faithfully and impartially, discharge the duties
of Secretary pro-tempore, of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of
Mount Auburn, before me

Jerome Jones. Justice of the peace.

Meeting

The monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees was held as notified,
on Wednesday , at 12 O'Clock noon. Present the
President, and Messrs. Choate, Foster, Richardson, Jones,
Beal, Whitney, Russell and Hemenway.

Secretary pro. tempore
In the absence of the Secretary, John L. Dill, was chosen
Secretary of the Proprietors of the Cemetery of Mt. Auburn pro tempore

half-hardy storage House. Appropriation
In accordance with the notice given at the last meeting,
the President asked for an appropriation of Four Thousand dollars,
to be expended for the erection of a Storage house for half hardy
plants, and a small Greenhouse for the propagation of trees
and shrubs, and it was Voted that the appropriation be granted.

New S. Potting Shed. Notice of Appropriation
The President gave notice, that at the next meeting of the Board
he should ask for an appropriation not Exceeding Five thousand
dollars to be used for the erection of a new Potting Shed
according to plans and specification furnished by the
Superintendent.
