OFFICE OF Mt. Auburn Cemetery Corporation,

(Removed to) No. 5 TREMONT STREET,

H.B. MACKINTOSH, Treasurer. L.C. FARMER, Secretary.

Boston, Oct 21. 1889

Dear Mr Lovering.

The Committee on Lots are unanimous in the opinion that the Two Oaks Mrs Bartlett wishes cut down, must remain. To comply with her request would in their judgment injure the appearance of the Cemetery -- They are willing the trees should be trimmed but not so much as to affect their general shape & symmetry. Please write to Mrs B. in courteous terms the decision of the Corpn --

Yrs truly

J M Spelman for Commee
