Q. What sort of a body have you? A. I have a heavenly body - there are bodies terrestrial and there are bodies celestial. Q. How do you happen to come to us? A. I am one of the links in the chain that connects heaven and earth. Q. What do you mean by that? A. Perhaps you will understand better by my saying I am part of a channel through which the Divine flows - I am really in the Celestial, but I can communicate thro' other links. Q. What does that mean? A. The many that form the chain of which I told you. Q. How can we improve in spiritual things? A. By the teachings of Christ. Q. Do the books we are reading upon Buddhism improve us? A. Yes, because you are getting insight into the workings of the Divine Will.

Insight Vol 1_008

A. The spiritual worlds are real worlds and your earth is but a shadow of its Heaven. There are 21 worlds; that means the planets that are visible to your eyes and others of which you can know nothing with your present senses.

Q. What is the moon? A. The moon is a planet belonging to the earth and it has no kind of life on it at present.

Q. Did it ever have life in it? A. Yes, it was once filled with life. The physical life has left it, because the conditions of its life were made impossible and the spiritual life that was once in it has gone for the same reason.

Q. What were these conditions? A. There are certain conditions as you know under which life exists - fire, water and atmosphere. Spiritual life has also its conditions.

Q, What are the conditions of spiritual life? A. You could not understand, for I know of not terms by which I could convey

my meaning to you.

Q. Is not your vocabulary equal to explaining this to us? A. My language is capable of explaining all spiritual thought, but yours is not.

Q, How did you develop your spiritual condition? A. I was left in a spiritual condition by nursing the sick.

Q. Were you a physician on earth? A. No, I was a poor monk, sunk in superstition and ignorance.

Q. How could caring for the sick keep you in a spiritual condition? A. As you are in sympathy with your brother you are in sympathy with the Father of All.

Q. How do you come to us and why? A. You are brought to me by your great desire for spiritual growth. It is my mission to help all who are cultivating their insight into higher things.
