-My Resolve-

I shall not let Tody be salt to
rust Tomorrow, nor neither let Tomorrow
foreshadow coming morrows. Yesterday
hath become a casket for all my Eternity.
-------------------
-Faint Heart-

Methinks my heart is pale
As a languishing lady at her lattice
Pining. I, as a troubadour, sing
Beneath her window, announcing my gallantry,
Declaring my love, swearing my faith,
While she bends down doubting! Methinks
My heart is a pale lady at a lattice, pining.
--------
-Eternity's Measure-

Who would bart for Eternities,
Swinging his lance upon a thong
Of faith, when a mug
Holds all that Eternity may ever hold;
Promise, forgetfullness, remembrance.

Eternity is nothing, a mug less.
I am the essence of the draught
And enhance Eternity all it shall contain
For me.

"Were self-prayers rats, half the earth would be running."

"Many a man's heart be made o' curd and his mercy is thinner than whey."

The boy next door was making night hideous with a bugle, which stuttered
badly and other neighbors were working on a piano and graphophone.

Mrs. Curran could not concentrate very well and Patience said:

"I hae seen a fool look adorin' 'pon a gander wi' his neck stretched
squawkin' while a lark singed like to a siller web o'er the sky!"
