Dear sister I would like to have a [???] of thy wedding dress, and know how it was [???] what thee wore and all abought it. I have [never heard?] any thing abought any of this.
How many of you are thare in the family are you on a farm in the country or do you live in a village. Thee knows I never was thare so I do not know any thing abought the place but hope in reply to this thee will let me know all that thee thinks will be of any interest to me abought your home and [???] thare. Thare several boys not far from thee that I want or very much like to see and if I ever go and see you thare hope to thy and see them - I found over on the W.S. farm four boys from Burlington Vt. and of which has been to cousin Rowlands and I think stay all nights, I don't recollect his name now. They have all four enlisted now and are at Camp [???], Washington Territory they all served like very good boys, three of which were brothers by the name of [Henney?] and of the [???] was our cook several weeks and was a very good boy and cook also would very much like to see him and if I can find his home will if I go to your home

Dear sister, there were some boys at work on the N.S. farm who came [???] from the Pinery up in Wis. and one day I asked them if they knewany one thare by the name of [Herill?], one said he did and the others went on and gave a correct description of Isaiah [Herrill?], they have been in the same [???] with him for the past six month, and they told many stories of him that were [???], all over some I would like to write here but cant as this on [???] will not allow, Monday Above [???] they corrispondance with dear [Cornelia?] I dont think ther is badly in the [???] to the matter. for cousin [Masy?] wrote [???] letter in the after [???] was out here the first time and before the was the second, and ate [never?] received an answer

as thee said in regard to her I think thee [???] may well be said abought thee for I do think if thee cared to [???] with cousin Mary or if thee cared to hear from any at [???] while I was gone at least, I think thee had any [???] to have written then if no others [???] even if it had been as thee thought or even more so if thee had written several to her with out a reply for the must bare in mind that Aunt is getting to be pretty old, and thare is a great deal of work for them to do here any way. & when I am [???] they have all, and even more than they aught to do; and [???] they find no time to write many letters & specialy to those whose thare comes no answer from them as in thy case
Cousin Mary says she wishes to be remembered to thee and she wishes thee much joy in her new home, & aunt says she wishes thee and all much happiness and hopes thee will conduct thy self so as to make counsin Rowland happy, and thy and make thy home a happy and [???] [concerned?]

This is a beautiful morning, and some cooler than in the past several weeks which is pleasant for every one.
I must close now and eat my breakfast and then go to work at James & So I will [???] you both one and all a long good bye, I hope this will find you as it has me well and happy in your new home
