They are pretty well at Dr Tobey's now, but had a great deal of sickness in the spring - The Dr was very poorly and took a trip to Cuba and was somewhat improved by it - Lilly was sick a long time, and [S?] sister Marian was sick and died there - she was a lovely woman- My daughters join me in love to Thee and all Thy family -

As Joseph is writing on business I improve the opportunity to write a little note, hoping it may be thought worth answering, Though I really do not see how I am going to make it so - We attended Yearly Meeting last week, and were in hopes we should see Thee there. affirmative - We enjoyed The week at Newport very much. The meetings were interesting The weather pleasant, and we meet so many of our relatives and friends There - our Uncle's and Aunt's were There as usual and about as smart with The exception of Uncle Asa he has failed very much.
