Mar 2. Had a most delightful surprise
call from the Wrights yesterday.
They were on the way South
to Florida and this morning
I went over to see them off on
the 7.16 train for Savanah.
Prof. W & I had a good tramp
up the Weymouth woods for
over two hours and in the
P.M. with Mrs. W we
re traversed the same walk
and then "did" [???town]
in all a two & a half hour
jaunt.
The leaf buds are beginning
to burst on the trees and
the green shoots just beginning
to push out of the sandy
soil.
