enough. God knows we are all
well John Chase paid Pa what he owed
him himself after a long time he said
he owed you 4 dollars, and he would
give it to him but he did not -did you
carry your letter to Ship Joland [ ?]
you wrote before you left Boston
we did nt get it till after the 7th
sailed. Jeuke is at home idle
now John send some money as soon
as you get it Pa could not have got along
if it had not been for George's money

government steamer is going to sail
tomorrow for Ship Island but I
