information-about-overseas-service: Lt. Arthur C Akin Jr served with the 8th Army Air Forces in England. had only been there 3 mo when the accident occured. People of the district where the crash occured placed a plaque near the stot where the plane hit the steeple. am enclosing a picture of same and the write up from an English paper.
