SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: FIELD LINEMAN: Established wire lines for telephone and teletype communications. Stretched wires overhead using any available trees or poles or laid it along ground. Connected lines to field telephones and field switchboards. Maintained lines repairing breaks and shorts by splicing and insulating wire. Recovered wire and equipment whenever squadron left a field.
