SUMMARY OF MILITARY OCCUPATIONS: FOREMAN, CONSTRUCTION--Supervised 18 men of a construction squad, using air compressor and jackhammer equipment, caterpillar D-8 bulldozer, and hand tools in the construction of roads and bridges. Also cleared mine fields and did demolitions work such as blasting pasta for roads and sites for bridges. Performed these duties in European Theater of Operations under combat conditions.
