Executive Board Feb. 4, 1927.
The regular meeting of the Executive Board was held in the Loring-Greenough house on Feb. 4, 1927. Those present were Mrs. Rees, Mrs. Goodman, Mrs. Dillaby, Mrs. Beldeu, Miss Weld, Mrs. Grabill, Miss Gilbert, Mrs. Dane Miss George, Miss Coe, Mrs. Coe, Mrs. Sears, Mrs. Hyde and Mrs. East. The recording secretary's report was read + accepted. The corresponding secretary reported that five members had died in 1926, i.e. Miss Mary W. Blanchard, Mrs. Wilmot L. Lowell, Miss Caroline E. Chickering, Mrs. Martin D. Kneeland, and Miss Annette C. Kemp. The treasurer's reports were read + accepted. Miss George announced that $3333 was the total from the vanishing luncheons and that that fund was now closed. Mrs. Rees read an excellent editorial from the Traveller, concerning the further publication of crimes, divorces etc. It was voted that a letter of approval be sent to the editor of the Traveler, Mr. Harold Wheeles.

Meeting of the Tuesday club. Feb. 15, 1927.
The meeting on Feb. 15th was in charge of the Art department. The chairman Mrs. Edwin F. Adams introduced Miss Margaret M. Wheeler who spoke of the Treasurer in the Boston Art Museum and showed pictures of some of the new pieces. Miss Wheeler also told us about the new wing that will be opened next fall.
After the meeting, a tea was held in the Loring-Greenough house, at which Mrs. R.R. Young, Mrs. Eugene Williams, Mrs. Robert C. Webster and Mrs. Arthur B. Lane poured.

Tea-dance. Feb. 22, 1927.
On February 22nd, Washington's Birthday, a tea-dance was held in the Loring-Greenough house. The two drawing rooms and social hall were thrown open for dancing + the tea tables were placed upstairs. The young married people of the club + daughters of other members + their friends spent a very enjoyable afternoon.

The regular meeting of the Executive Board was held in the Loring-Greenough house on March 4, 1927. Those present were Mrs. Rees, Miss Weld, Mrs. Dane, Mrs. Seabury, Mrs. Walter B. Russell, Mrs. Hyde, Mrs. Goodnow, Mrs. Baker, Miss George, Mrs. Eldridge, Mrs. Beldeu, Miss Howard, Mrs. Dillaby, Mrs. Edwin F. Adams, Miss Coe, Mrs. Coe, Mrs. Grabill, Mrs. Sears + Mrs. East. The recording secretarys report was read + accepted. It was reported to the corresponding secretary that three former members wished to be reinstalled. It was voted that Mrs. Walter H. Page, Mrs. Howard Barbour and Mrs. James P. Parker be reinstated. The treasurer's reports were read + accepted. The various committies made rereports + some of their suggestions for future events were discussed.

Miss Gilbert recommended a lecture on insurance, & suggested that the [?] names of tghe department of household economics be changed to that of American homes.

Meeting of the Tuesday club. April 26, 1927.
The regular meeting of the Tuesday club was held on April 26th. Miss Minnie Gilbert, chairman of the Home economics committee, introduced Miss S. Agnes Donham of the Garland school of Housemaking. Miss Donham, assisted by Mrs. Gladys B. Jones, through the medium of a playlet, have us her ideas for budgeting an income of $5000. After the fixed charge of income tax + of the premium on life insurance were deducted, she divided the working income into five parts, under the headings, shelter, operating expenses, food, clothing + development, discussing each little item in detail + suggesting where economics might be practised. The little play proved to be very interesting as well as instructuve. At the end of the hours, all adjourned to the LoringGreenough house for the tea. Mrs. Adolph J. Lins, Mrs. Chas. Williams, Mrs. Herbert D. Boyd + Mrs. Edmund J. Baker served the punch.

Hospitality $100 for 2 meetings + $250 for guest night. Current events $150 for 5 meetings. Has been $120. Art $100. Has been $75. History + travel $100. Has been $75. Home economics $75. (as of present). Literature $100 for 2 meetings. Music + drama $100 for 2 meetings. Has been $75. Social service $75. In all $130 more than old appropriations And $10 additional for each tea. It was voted that the above additional appropriations be made for the committees.
Consideration of $300 to be given for charities
It was voted that $100 be given to Community Health, $10 to the Children's Museum, $75 to the Neighborhood House, $75 to the Family Welfare Assoc., $10 to the Friendly Co-operation of ex Service men, $10 to the New England Hospital for women + children, $10 to the Talitha Cumi Maternity House + Hospital, $10 to the Faulkner Aid Society.
It was voted that $100 be given to the LoringGreenough house by the Jamaica Plain Tuesday club incorporated.
It was voted that a vote of thanks be given the retiring officers.

Executive Board.
The regular meeting of the Executive Board of the Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club, Inc. was held at the Loring Greenough house June sixteenth the President presiding; the members present were
Mrs. Grabill Miss Gilbert Mrs. Seabury Miss George Mrs. Cornell Mrs. Baker Mrs. Eldridge miss Howard Mrs. Sears Mrs. East Mrs. Henderson Mrs. Dillaby and Mrs. Eldridge
The report of the recording secretary was read and accepted.
The corresponding secretary stated that there were twenty-six vacancies in membership of the club.
The resignations of three members were accepted with regret:-
Mrs. Joel Barnes Mrs. Isaac Noyes Mrs. Edward Brewer
It was voted that a letter be sent Mrs. Brewer who was a charter member expressing our regret that she had found it necessary to resign from the club and to thank her for her interest in the past.
The treasurer stated that the mortgage had been reduced to Thirteen Hundred Dollars ($1300.00). On June 1st the treasure's report showed a balance of $1400.39 with the Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club, Inc. and with the Loring Greenough House Find a balance of $1812.82. She also informed the board of checks received amounting to $700.00.
It was noted that Mrs. Dillaby be appointed Press Representative of the Club, a position she has filled

each member to pay Two Dollars ($2.00) and the Club three dollars ($3.00) each for ten lessons. The question of shades for the Unitarian Parish House was discussed and the committee is to have figures from the Allen Shade Co. and the Crown Shade Co. for submission to the September meeting of the brand.

It was voted that the board accept with regret the resignation of Mrs. Goodnow as State Federation Secretary of the Club and the board appointed Mrs. Henderson as her successor.
The President called on the chairman of the various committees for their reports on their programs for the ensuing year and
Mrs. Grabill reported for Hospitality Department. Mrs. Sears reported for Art Department. Mrs. Eldridge reported for History and Travel Department. Mrs. Henderson reported for Current Events Department. Mrs. Baker reported for Music and Drama Department. Miss Gilbert reported for Home Economics Department. Mrs. Rees reported for Legislation Department.
The chair appointed Mrs. Seabury and Mrs. Dillaby to serve on the Year Book committee.
It was voted that we accept the suggestion of Mrs. John Greenough that a picture of the Loring Greenough house be shown on the cover of the Year Book the coming year. The matter was referred to the Year Book committee for the necessary action.
It was decided that the chair appoint four delegates to the City Federation.
It was voted that Mrs. Seabury investigate the matter of securing the use of an addressograph and that the entire matter be left to her discretion.
It was voted that the President be authorized to proceed with the forming of a dramatic class if she thought desirable. The class is to be limited to twenty members and
