Mrs. Rees suggested that in the future when making plaus
for the distribution of the proceeds from various activities consideration
should be given to the possible advisability of placing this matter
of distribution in the hands of some committee.
Mrs. Grabill stated that the committe on the revision of the
by-laws and regulations reported progress [with their work] (strikethrough) and Mrs.
Rees suggested that the committee be permitted to continue with
their work.
Mrs. Rees suggested the advisability of inviting Miss Cora
Stanwood Cobb to speak before the Club during the year 1928-1929
also Miss Elizabeth Ross McElroy
Mrs. Rees stated that it has been the custom of the Club to
send flowers on the death of a member and that Mrs.
Charles H. Souther had had charge of this matter.
Mrs. Rees stated that members of the Club automatically
became associate of out-of-town members when giving up
their residence in Jamaica Plain. On returning to Jamaica Plain
if in good standing, the pause could be reinstated.
