Mrs. Henderson stated that Mrs. Grace Morison Poole had been
secured for a series of five talks during the yera 1928-29. It was
the sentiment of the board that Mrs. A. J. George be invited to speak
during the year 1928-29 by some committee other than the
Current Events.
Mrs. Rees state that the electic refridgeration demonstration by
the General Electric Company had been abandoned but that a later
date could be arranged if the Club so desired.
Mrs. Dillaby stated that the total amount raised by the
dime calendars was Six Hundred Dollars.
Mrs. Rees stated that Mrs. Hyde had resigned the office of
Vice President of the Club which the board accepted with regret.
On motion made by Mrs. Grabill, it was voted that Miss Howard
be invted to fill the unexpired term of Mrs. Hyde.
It was voted that the resignation of Mrs. Barbour from the Club
be accepted with regret.
It was voted that various sums totalling Three Hundred Twenty-
five Dollars ($325.=) be donated to various organizations as
follows:-
Community Health Association~$100.=
Family Welfare~~~100.=
Jamaica Plain Neighborhood House~75.=
Friendly Cooperation Ex-Service Men~30.=
Children's Museum~~~10.=
Traveller's Aid Society~~~10.=
