Meetings of the Tuesday Club. Jan 11, 1927

On Jan. 11th, after the minutes of the
last meetings had been read + accepted,
Miss Gilbert, chairman of the House econo-
mics department, introduced Mrs.
Katherine Osborne as the speaker of the
afternoon. Mrs. Osborne talked de-
lightfully about the books she is mak-
ing out of clippings from magazines +
newspapers on 250 different subjects +
showed us her finished books bound by
hand in beautiful brocades, with end
papers of Japacese papers + often Chinese
hand-made papers as pages. The few
who had braved the blizzard felt more
than repaid + only regretted that so
many members were missing one
of the most interested lectures of the year.
