Meeting of the Tuesday Club Nov. 9, 1926

The regular meeting of the Tuesday club was
held on Nov. 9th. After opening the meeting,
Mrs. Rees read a delightful newspaper article
about the charm of the Loring-Greenough house.
Another cheerful bit of news was that the
English-speaking [?] in London is receiv-
ing Americans with the greatest cordiality.
Mrs. Rees urged us to do our best to increase
the comradship between England + the United
States.
Mrs. John Dane, chairman of the literature
department, then introduced Mr. Henry Beston,
as the spearkers of the afternoon. Mr. Beston
told us stories of the world-wide ramblings
of his vagabonds, a new type of vagabonds
were these men + women in the upper
walks of life.

Respectfully submitted
Mary L. East, Rec. Sec'y.
