Current Events. Dec. 1, 1925.
The Current Events Department, Mrs. Charles H. Williams, Chairman held it's second class, December first, at the Loring-Greeough House. Mrs. Gibson spoke first of the Locarno Contract, showing the attitude of England, France, and Germany, with especial reference to the conflicting emotions in Germany regarding the stand of Von Hindernburg This was followed by a glimpse of Italy under Mussolini, a comprehensive view of the Syrian Situation inflamed by the Shelling of Damascus, and lastly a few words abot the Chinese Conference at Pekin*, and the task of General Pershing to restore amicable relations, in South America, between Chili and Peru.
