Executive Board. Nov. 6, 1925.
The regular meeting of the Executive Board was held at the LoringGreenough House, November sixth, and was opened by the President. Those present were Miss George, Miss Perry Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Dillaby, Miss Cox, Miss Howard, Miss Homes, Miss Gilbert, Miss Fowler, Mrs. Goggin, Mrs. Walter-Russell, Mrs. Edwin Adams, Mrs. Ohler, Mrs. Seabury, Mrs. Goodnow, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Henderson. The secretary's and treasurer's reports were read and accepted, the latter showing a balance of $1096.88 for the Tuesday Club, and $3744.44 for the LoringGreenough Fund. The latest returns from the bazaar were quoted at $1771.64. A check of twenty-five dollars was sent to the Club, from Mr. John Greenough of New York, with the request that Mrs. Greenough be made a member of the Club. This was allowable under the by-laws, by the vote of the Executive Board, so

Mrs. Greenough was unanimously elected as an associate member. It was voted to accept the kind and generous offer of the [strikethrough of "Community Players"] Comedy Club, to give one half the proceeds of their play, to the Tuesday Club. The play is "Polly With a Past", to be given Dec. 17th and 18th at Eliot Hall, and it is hoped that the Tuesday Club will contribute to their own cause, by a generous patronage. It was voted that November seventeenth be made an open meeting, that the community might have the privlidge of hearing Dr. Alfred E. Stearns, speak on "Youth and It's Problems". In regard to Club Membership, it was voted that after passing the Membership Committee, the list of the candidates with their endoresers, be sent to each member of the Club at least one month before their names are to be acted upon, also that these names be read before the Club, one month before the time of election, and that these elections shall

take place at stated intervals, preferably twice a year. The following names were read by Miss Perry and were accepted by the Executive Board. [strikethrough of Mrs. Frank James], Mrs. N. A*, Hinckley Jr. Mrs Joseph Harriman, Miss Elizabette I*. Brierstadt*, Mrs. Timothy Leary, Mrs. Alijah* A. Cahoon, Mrs. Alfred J. Gayson, Miss Anna S. Weld, and for reinstatemen, Mrs. Heirrich Hofman, and Mrs. Joel Barnes. It was voted that Miss Ruth Blake, be extended the courtesy of the Club, for the winter. It was voted that Club dues be refunded to Miss Ella J. Adams. The advisability of discontinuing the privlidge of attending four Club meetings a year, usually accorded* to the waiting list, was discussed but no action taken. It was suggested that member's names, with the activities they prefer to assist, be written on the bulletin board.
