Executive Board, May 15, 1925.

The regular meeting of the Executive Board was held May fifteenth at the Loring-Greenough House, and was opened by the President. Those present were Miss Perry, Miss George, Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Lane, Miss Homes, Miss Howard, Mrs. Dane, Mrs. Seabury, Mrs. Russell, Miss Gilbert, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Eldridge, Mrs. Grabill, Mrs. Henderson. The secretary's report was read and accepted. Miss Perry proposed the names of Mrs. Julia M. Dodge and Mrs. Warner* L. Carver, for reinstatement, and both were accepted and placed on the waiting list. The resignation of Mrs. Gesuer* Corbitt was read and regretfully accepted. It was voted to ask Mrs. Edwin Adams to fill the vacancy on the

Board, for two years, left by Mrs. Bela Pratt, also to ask Mrs. Ward R. Ohler*, and Mrs. Walter J. Goggin, to fill vacancies left, for one year. In case of refusal, on the part of any of these three, Mrs. Rees has the privilege to select whom she wishes for the Board. The following Chairmen of the Committees were appointed. Hospitality- Mrs. John Dane, Current Events- Mrs. Williams. Histoty & Travel- Mrs. Grabill. Literature- Mrs. Webb. Music & Drama- Mrs. Eldridge, Home Economics- Miss Gilbert. Social Service- Mrs. Seabury.

It was voted to abolish the Public Welfare Department and there was a debate in regard to Children's Day, but no action was taken.

Mrs. Seabury was appointed to take charge of the Calendar Postcards, for each month, including printing. It was susggested that an Activities Committee, be formed, to take charge of the activities, in connection with the Loring-Greenough House. It was decided to keep "open house", again, next Christmas Eve. It was planned to hold the fété, the first week in October, presumably on the sixth and seventh. It was decided to hold the next Board meeting on Tuesday, June sixteenth. Adjournment followed,
