delightful innovation. Instead of the
usual stereotypical program, Mrs.
Mabel F. Barstow*, a member of
the music committee of the State
Federation, was invited to lead the
Club in Community Singing,
assisted by Mrs. A. C. Sproul* at the
piano, and the lively singing,
alternating with the business routine,
created a merry atmosphere that the
business could not dull.
Violin solos by Mrs. Nilman* E. Adams
accompanied by Miss Priscilla
Riddle, added to the enjoyment of
the afternoon.
Regretfully the Club accepted the
resignation of their President, Mrs.
Albert W. Goodnow who has
completed three years of exceptional
service, a pin from the Club,
presented by Mrs. Charles H. Curtis
being a wholly inadequate
expression of the affection in which
