Executive Board. May 8, 1925.

The regular meeting of the Executive Board, was held at 27 Burroughs St., on May eighth, and was opened by the President. Those present were Mrs. Pratt, Mrs. Lane, Miss Gilbert, Mrs. Curtis, Miss Homes, Mrs. Henry Adams, Mrs. Seabury, Mrs. Cox, Miss George, Mrs. Rees, Miss Perry, Mrs. Webb, Mrs. Noyes, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Edwin Adams, Mrs. Eldridge, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Henderson. The secretary's and treasurer's reports were read and accepted, the latter showing a balance of $621. 08 for the Tuesday Club, and $2652.05 for the Loring-Greenough Fund. Because of their return to Jamaica Plain, it was asked and granted that the names of Mrs. Blanchard and Mrs. Stanwood* be transferred from the associate to the active member list. The name of Mrs. Joseph P. Lyons was proposed for membership, accepted [smudge]

and placed on the waiting list. The resignations of Mrs. Henry Nest and Mrs. Bela Pratt from the Club were regretfully accepted. We were especially sorry to lose Mrs. Pratt from the Board. It was voted that the Proposers and Endorsers of new names for membership, should be required to personally sign the application blanks. It was voted to reserve five days for current events, on our next year's program, four to be taken by Mrs. Claude U. Gibson, and the fifth by Mrs. Poole, if she is available. It was voted to set aside $300 from the treasury for our annual contribution to our local charities, the sum to be divided as follows. Community Health $100, Neighborhood House $75, Family Welfare $75, Faulkner Nurses' Home $25, New England Hospital $15 Children's Museum $10.
