Special Meeting of Trustees and Officers Mar. 25, 1925. ~
A special meeting of the Trustees and Officers of the Tuesday Club was held March twenty fifth, at four o'clock, at the Loring-Greenough House, for the purpose of forming an association to sign an agreement to incorporate the Tuesday Club, under the title of the "Jamaica Plain Tuesday Club, Incorporated." The meeting was conducted by Mr. Henry L. Burnham, attorney for the Club, who read the agreement and purpose of the Corporation. "The Corporation is formed for the purpose of promoting intellectual improvement, civic wellfare, general philanthropy, and to foster community spirit." The agreement was signed by Ella H. It was stated that members of the Tuesday Club, must signify assent by notifying the Recording Secretary, before they can be made members of the Corporation. Adjournment followed.
