Regular Meeting - Nov. 2 1920

On Nov, 2. at 2. P.M. 112 persons started from Eliot St. on the Historical Pilgrimage to Quincy, planned and executed by Miss Fanny E. Coe and her committee. Motor Cars for the purpose were provided loaned by members and friends of the club. and a guide well informed for the occasion accompanied each car. The thanks of the club are due to all those who contributed to the success and interest of the excursion. The donors of motor cars were - Mrs. Arthur L. Albee, Mrs Joel Mr. Barnes Mrs. Ledne J. 3. There were 27 cars and the trip occupied about 3 hours. The Quincy Adams birthplace was visited by courtesy of the Quincy Hist. Soc. The 1st church and crypt containing tombs of the two Presidents and their wives + the Adams Academy were viewed and the monument to mark the 1st railway in America. The President and officer of the Quincy Woman's Club afterward entertained the party with tea in their Club house.
