Annual Meeting, May 11, 1920.
The annual meeting of the Tuesday Club was held on the afternoon of May 11, 1920. The business meeting was in charge of the President, Mrs. Rees, who called first for the annual report of the Secretary, which was read and accepted. The reports of the Treasurer, Auditor and Corresponding Secretary were also accepted and placed on file.
The club also VOTED that the following applicants for membership be accepted and placed upon the waiting list: Miss Gertrude E. Shaw Mrs. Henry Thanish Mrs. Elias Field Mrs. John R. The President reported that there was available in the treasury, to be disbursed by the club, $100.00, and that the Executive Board recommended the following gifts: Jamaica Plain Friendly Society, $50.00 " " Neighborhood House, 25.00 Salvation Army Day Nursery, 15.00 Hospital for Blind Babies, 5.00 Children's Museum. 5.00
The club VOTED that these appropriations be made.
The Nominating Committee reported the following list of officers of the club nominated for the coming year:

The report of the tellers showed an unanimous vote for the above candidates, 191 ballots being cast. Mrs. Rees then with appropriate remarks handed the gavel to Mrs. Grabill who graciously responded and [with] as her first duty appointed the following Nominating Committee for another year: Mrs. Albert W. Goodnow, Chairman Mrs. Russell S. Hyde Mrs. J. Murray Ross Mrs. Leslie K. Storrs Mrs. Thomas S. Nelson Mrs. Walter F. W. Taber
The entertainment for the afternoon was in charge of the Hospitality Department, Mrs. Grabill Chairman, and presented Mrs. Nena Fales Peck, whose original musical caricatures provided a charming and novel entertainment.
At the close of the program a reception was given to the retiring president, Mrs. Rees, in the lower hall, which was tastefully

decorated for the occasion. Music was furnished by a small orchestra of young ladies, and refreshments were served. Receiving with Mrs. Rees was Mrs. Robert M. Morse, first president of the club, while those who poured were three other ex-presidents, Mrs. Charles H. Adams, Mrs. Charles H. Souther, and Mrs. Thomas W. Carter.
There was a large attendance, and the occasion was one of the most pleasant in the hisory of the club. Margaret H. Chadwell. Recording Secretary.
