the local charities and of the other to go to Red Cross work
or whatever of that nature might seem best. She also suggest-
ed an experience meeting as one way of raising money for this
purpose, and it was later VOTED that the club try the experi-
ment of having an experience party sometime during the year.

It was also VOTED that the teas for the coming year be
made very simple, confined to some kind of beverage and crackers,
the cost not to exceed the appropriation of five dollars.

The reports from committees were next in order, and Mrs.
Carter, for the Hospitality Committee brought up the matter of
guest night, a discussion following as to whether it would be
advisable to use dramatics as the entertainment for that night.
A straw vote being taken showed nine members in favor of dramatics
and four opposed.

The Art Committee, Miss Beaumont Chairman, reported the
following members, Mrs. Sears (from The Board) Mrs. F. W.

The Current Events Committee, Mrs. Monteith Chairman, [reported] had chosen
the following menbers. Miss Bierstadt, Miss Blanchard, Mrs.

The History and Travel Committee, Mrs. Souther Chairman,
reported the following committee, Miss Emily J. F. Knight, Miss
Fannie E. Coe, Mrs. Horace E. Dunkle, Mrs. James Keltie, [with the
addition of the High School girl who might be chosen for this
committee].

The Literature Committee, Chairman Mrs. Grabill, included
