It is an excellent plant for the dining-room table, or as a water plant in very moist spots, or for aquariums or fountains. Jackmanii.--Most magnificent and showy vine in existence; of strong, healthy growth, perfectly hardy and sure to succeed anywhere. Flowers four to six inches in diameter, of a rich, deep, velvety purple, distinctly veined. It is a prince among all hardy flowering vines. Strong plants, each 50 cents; extra large, three-year-old roots, 75c. Henryii.--This may be briefly described as a white flowered Jackmanii. It is the finest of all white sorts, the same size as Jackmanii. Each 50c. Mad. Edouard Andre.--An entirely distinct and beautiful new variety being the nearest approach to bright red ever sent out. Has the same vigorous growth, hardiness and freedom of bloom as the above, while the color is a pleasing carmine red. Each 50c. Paniculata.--This small-flowered variety of Clematis is one of our most beautiful, hardy, fall-blooming vines. The flowers which are pure snow-white, are produced in immense clusters, fairly covering the plant with a mass of fleecy white. They have a delicious fragrance. The plant is of extreme rapidity of growth. Each 15c. Large, extra strong plants, 30c.

It is an herbaceous perennial growing about twelve feet high. Each 25c. Virgin's Bower.--(Clematis Flammula.)--An old fashioned popular climber, growing to a height of 20 feet, and covered with thousands of pure white fragrant flowers. The vine is perfectly hardy, rapid growing, graceful, and will succeed everywhere. Each 10c, large 25c.

CINNAMON VINE.--This beautiful climber possesses the rare quality of emitting from its flowers the delightful odor of cinnamon, and is very appropriately called the Cinnamon Vine. Perfectly hardy, the stem dying down every autumn, but growing again so rapidly as to completely cover any trellis or arbor very early in the season. With its beautiful heart-shaped leaves, clusters of delicate white flowers and delicious cinnamon odor it is a most desirable climber. We have always been short of these, but this year grew about 25,000 roots and hope to be able to supply the demand. We furnish the large tubers, postpaid, for 10c, 3 for 25c, dozen for 65c. Bulblets.--Quite satisfactory but do not produce as much vine as the large roots the first year. Per dozen 15c, per 100, 75c. AMPELOPSIS.--Veitchi.--(Boston Ivy.)--A very beautiful and hardy climbing plant. This is one of the finest climbers we have for covering walls, as it clings firmly to the smoothest surface, covering it smoothly with over-lapping foliage, giving it the appearance of heing [being] shingled with green leaves. Should be slightly protected the first winter, but after that it will be found entirely hardy in the most exposed places, attaining a height of 20 to 30 feet in two or three years, clinging to stones, brick or wood work with the greatest tenacity. It is a great protection to houses, as the leaves lapping over each other like shingles on a roof, effectually prevent the rain from penetrating the walls. For covering dead trees, gate posts, boundary walls, etc., it has no equal. In the summer the foliage is a rich shade of green, but in the fall it assumes the most gorgeous tints of crimson, scarlet and orange, so dazzling as to be seen at a great distance. Each 10c, large plants 25c. Variegated.--A sport of the above variety having beautifully variegated green and white foliage. A desirable novelty. Each 15c, large 35c. SILK VINE.--(Periploca Grecea.)--A beautiful, rapid-growing climber, grows thirty to forty feet high; hardy. Leaves glossy and glitter like silk, therefore its name. Flowers purplish brown and borne in clusters. Each 20c, large 40c. WOODBINE.--(Virginia Creeper.)--A strong, rapid grower; foliage large, dark green; in autumn bronze and crimson. This is an old favorite and quite common in most localities. Valuable for covering back porches, out-buildings, arbors, etc. Each 10c, doz. $1.25, large size 30c, doz. $2.50. ENGLISH IVY.--A well known evergreen climber, highly valued in the east and south, but not hardy here. Makes a nice climber for the house, and when planted in the open ground should be on the north side of a building, as it is apt to suffer if exposed to sun in winter. Each 10c, large 25c.

HARDY PERENNIAL PLANTS. It is really wonderful the immense demand which there has been for these hardy plants during the past few years, our trade in this line multiplying fourfold every year. Our customers are learning that they require less care and are more satisfactory with ordinary culture than most other classes of plants. When once set out they bloom year after year, the flowers really becoming better as the plants grow older. These varieties are all hardy, the tops dying down every winter, but coming up again in spring. Cover with leaves or litter after ground is frozen.
