Each year proves the importance of spraying fruit trees and plants in order to destroy the insects and secure a good crop of fruit. The largest and most successful fruit growers are the most enthusiastic on spraying. It will pay you to invest in spraying apparatus if you have only one fruit tree. The spraying of apple and plum trees is especially recommended. Will furnish table giving formula for making mixtures and directions for application of same, upon request.

RIPLEY'S COMPRESSED AIR SPRAYER.- After careful examination and test of a number of Compressed Air Sprayers wo[we] have decided to offer the Ripley, having been convinced that it is the best constructed and most durable of any on the market. Compressed Air Sprayers are coming rapidly into use and are the most satisfactory for ordinary work, especially for plants of all kinds and trees that are not more than 25 feet high. It is claimed by the manufacturer that it will stand a greater pressure and force a finer spray or a continuous stream a greater distance than any other compressed air sprayer made. It is made to strap to body and a person can walk along and spray at leisure by simply turning the stop cock off and on. These sprayers are all fitted with single Vermorel nozzle for fine or coarse spray, and with three feet of hose.

LIGHTNING COMPRESSED AIR SPRAYER NO. 30.- An improved heavy galvanized iron tank, holding two gallons which works with a compressed air pump automatically. Will give a fine mist spray or throw a solid stream 20 feet high. To obtain best results, do not fill the tank more than one-half to two-thirds full of the liquid used. It is provided with a safety valve to prevent over pressure and a strainer so that no sediment can obstruct the pipe. Can be operated by boy or man without experience. THE LITTLE GIANT BUCKET SPRAY PUMP. - Constructed entirely of brass and is provided with a large air chamber and has ball valves, and the pressure is held uniformly in the air chamber and on the hose, so that the nozzle throws a continuous spray and is not affected by the movement of the plunger. Will throw a solid stream 50 to 60 ft.; fitted with hose and imperial combination and fine and coarse spray and solid stream nozzle and malleable foot rest.
