CARNATIONS.
Fragrant flowers are always sought after, and the rich, spicy odor of the carnation, combined with its various colors, leaves little to be desired. Easily grown and bloom freely.

McKINLEY DAY COLLECTION.
Notice the five grand carnations--McKinley, Roosevelt, Improved American Flag, Gold Standard and Prosperity, illustrated and described with novelties. 50c.

Enchantress.--This charming variety, offered for the first time last season, far surpasses other existing sorts. Cut blooms the past season readily sold at double the price of other choice varieties. Flowers are of the largest size, measuring four to five inches in diameter, the stems being 24 to 36 inches in length. The flower is delicately perfumed and of a beautiful shade of pink color. Each 15c.
Estelle.--This is considered the finest of all bright scarlet varieties, of intensely bright shade, showing no tendency to fade. Nearly every shoot sends up a flower, and stems are long, holding the blooms upright. Each 10c.
White Cloud.--Unquestionably the finest bold handsome white we have to date; the flowers are large, well built, with good calyx and extra fine strong stem; plant strong and very vigorous, producing flowers very freely. Delightfully fragrant. Each 10c.
Mrs. Thomas W. Lawson.--The immense pink variety for which $30,000.00 was paid by Mr. Lawson, the highest price ever paid for a plant novelty in this country. Flowers 3½ inches in diameter; color beautiful deep pink. Each 15c.
Guardian Angel.--Bright, clear pink color, nicely fringed; large size and very fragrant. Each 10c.
Mrs. Geo. M. Bradt.--Color clear white, heavily edged and striped with bright scarlet. Each 10c.
Jubilee.--Color intense scarlet of richest shade. One of the largest among reds; flowers full and well built; free continuous bloomer. Each 10c.

Flora Hill.--Considered by florists the best pure white variety. Flower is of enormous size and of rounded build; wonderfully free in bloom; good calyx. Each 10c.
Mrs. M. A. Patten.--A beautiful new striped Carnation. Ground color white with pink stripes. A very attractive flower. Large size with long stem. Sweet, spicy odor, habit ideal; has a grand constitution and makes a fine plant in the field. Each 15c.
Queen Louise.--Flower pure white, fragrant and of large size. Center well filled, rounding the flower to a most pleasing form. The color is very pure, stem exceptionally long. Each 10c.
Flamingo.--From all reports now coming in Flamingo has proven all that was claimed for it last season. Flowers of brilliant scarlet and hold color under all conditions. As a producer it will be hard to equal as it is an early, free and continuous bloomer, every shoot producing a flower on strong stems. Each 15c.
Vesper.--Pure white. Blooms 3 inches and over in diameter; beautifully fringed; very fragrant; exceedingly freeblooming; early and continuous; very healthy and vigorous; stems stiff. Each 15c.
Evanston.--A beautiful large flowered variety of peculiar reddish pink color. Many consider this the handsomest of all carnations. Each 10c.
Gov. Wolcott.--Taken as a standard of excellence for white Carnations. Flowers large, stems long and stout and habit of growth perfect. Each 10c.

CHRYSANTHEMUMS.
These are now, and deservedly, the most fashionable of all autumn flowers. All these varieties are excellent for pot culture, and the best of their class.
Wm. H. Lincoln.--A magnificent golden yellow variety with straight, flat spreading petals. If you want an extra fine specimen plant, this is the variety. Each 10c.
Vivian Morel--Deep, rosy pink, blooming very freely and giving as large flowers as many of the newer so-called "giants." Each 15c.
Yanariva.--The sensation of last season's flower shows. Resembling, but far surpassing the prize winners of previous years. Flowers immense, often measuring 8 to 9 inches through. Color delicate blush, deepening at center. A splendid variety for pot culture. Each 15c.
Major Bonaffon.--Bright, clear yellow; the best for all purposes. Produces flowers 6 to 7 inches across on straight, stiff stems of good length. An ideal Chrysanthemum. Each 15c.
Geo. S. Kolb.--A very pretty early white sort; dwarf, with nice, stiff stems. Fine for sprays. Each 10c.
Col. Appleton.--If you only have one yellow "Mum" let it be Appleton. It is a perfect model. Dwarf, stiff stemmed, elegant in foliage, enormous in bloom, finely incurved and golden yellow. Perfectly healthy. Each 15c.
Glory of the Pacific.--The earliest flowering light pink variety, being ready to cut Oct. 8th. Has stiff, strong stem; excellent foliage. Dwarf and fine for pot culture. Each 10c.
Mrs. Henry Robinson.--A perfect form of exceptional merit, large and well finished, medium early white, blooming with us Oct. 5th. Fine substance; very lasting. Each 10c.
Golden Wedding.--Of a rich golden yellow color; intensely dazzling; flowers 10 to 12 inches in diameter, petals broad and long, double to center. Each 10c.
Silver Wedding.--Very much like the above but of pure silvery white. A grand novelty. Each 15c.
Willow Brook.--Early; profuse bloomer, pure white. Each 10c.
Pink Ivory.--A sport from and identical with ivory in every respect except color, which is a beautiful shell pink. Each 15c.
Mrs. Perrin.--Wonderfully clear, bright pink, the brighest [brightest] shade of pink yet produced in Chrysanthemums; globular, incurved form with satiny finish. Each 10c.
Christmas Eve.--The latest of all white Chrysanthemums. Flowers of immense size borne on long stems, and very desirable both as a pot plant and for cutting, as they are good keepers. Each 15c.
Timothy Eaton.--A globular Japanese incurved variety of perfect form and growth. Color pure white when fully developed. A prize winner at all shows last fall. Each 15c.
Wm. H. Chadwick.--A pure white flower of immense size and perfect shape. Each 10c.
Gold Mine.--Of large size and rich golden yellow color. Outer petals reflexed and center ones incurved in a whorl. A rival to Golden Wedding, being a strong grower and more dwarf. Each 10c.
Geo. W. Childs.--A popular variety for pot culture. Color crimson. Each 10c.
Louis Boehmer.--The splendid new pink ostrich plume Chrysanthemum. Grand flowers of globular form; petals broad and lasting and thickly covered with fine downy hairs so much admired. Color deep, rich pink; solid and fine. Strong and vigorous plant. Each 10c.
Child of Two Worlds.--An exquisitely beautiful variety like above but pure snowy white. Each 15c.
Bronze Plume.--Like Louis Boehmer, but of a handsome bronze color. Each 10c.
