Delicate cake
3 cups of Flour 2 of sugar
1 half cup butter. Three fourths cup of
sweet milk. Whites of 6 eggs, Lemon Extract
1 teaspoon Cream Tartar ½ have one of Soda

Coffee cake
1 cup & half of Sugar. Butter size of an egg
half cup of strong coffee tea spoon of
Cream Tartar - half one Soda

Dried apple cake
Two tea cups full dried apple soaked
over night. Chopped some after soaking
simmered one hour in two cups molasses
when cool add two eggs teaspoon lemon
half cup sugar half cup butter
Teaspoonful of Soda Spice to taste.

Breakfast cake
3 eggs 1 pint of sweet milk 2 Tablespoons
of sugar 1 teaspoon of soda.
Rye or Graham flour. Bake in small tins.
