Pudding

1 cup sugar 1 quart milk
yolks of 4 eggs grated rind of
lemon butter size of an egg
Bake till thoroughly done taking care
that it is not watery.
Whip the whites of the eggs - with - a
cup of fine sugar - & the juices of
the lemon [just?] over the pudding a layer
of jelly then [jam?] over the frosting
sit in the oven to stiffen frosting

Pudding
Make a dough as for biscuits
roll thin & spread with currants
cherries or any kind of berries
roll it up [the] jelly [?] - steam
till done eat with sweet cream
or sauce.
