Dough nuts
1 quart flour 1 egg half cup sugar
1 cup sweet milk six teaspoonsful melted
lard 2 spoonsful cream tartar 1 of soda

No 2 Dough nuts
1 cup of sour milk 1 cup of sugar 1 egg
1 teaspoon of soda 2 of butter - salt
& spice - mix very soft.

Raised Doughnuts
2 cups of milk 1/2 cup yeast flour
enough to make a batter - make batter
at noon set it in a warm place & let it
rise until night - if [light?] add tea
spoonful of butter, salt. 1 egg cup of
sugar, little cinnamon let it
rise till morning 1/2 teaspoonful
of soda
